Catalyst-Grade Kaolin (FCC)
FCC catalyst matrix & in-situ crystallised zeolite, catalyst carriers
Catalyst grade
Overview
High-purity, highly kaolinitic clay for fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) catalyst manufacture. Low alkali, low iron and fine, uniform particle size are critical for matrix performance and attrition resistance.
- High kaolinite content and low free quartz
- Low Na₂O + K₂O to protect zeolite activity
- Fine, uniform particles for spray drying and attrition resistance
- Low iron to limit metal contamination
